Rates and visitor controls
The frame loads a rate once, 15 minutes behind the market, and prints its timestamp in UTC. Reload it for a newer rate. It does not refresh by itself.
Currency lists show codes such as USD and EUR. Visitors can change the amount, select either currency or swap them. These actions run in the browser and make no request.
When to call the API
Use the API for your own interface, live rates on paid plans, history or conversions inside your code. The Free plan has 5,000 requests a month and 10 requests a minute.
